Discover the elegant world of sailing with our Introductory Sailing Lesson Experience. Designed for novice boaters, this 3-hour course on a specially crafted First 22 boat offers a safe and relaxed environment to learn from experienced instructors.

What's Included

Sailors will participate in:

  • Reviewing basic safety when participating as crew.
  • Preparation of boat for departure.
  • Departure from dock as crew.
  • Assist in activities required to sail while underway – including raising and lowering sails, sail trim, helming.
  • Returning to dock as crew.

This 3hr class provides a great opportunity for first time sailors to get out on the water with an experienced instructor

Requirements

Our 3-hour sailing experience is quite relaxing and we have bench and deck seating available.
You must be able to board the boat which requires the ability to step out/up/down approximately 0.5m or 18″. You should maintain a solid grip and have good stability to move about.

Guests must be a maximum of 125 kilos or 275lbs to board any vessel. From June-September we are barefoot on board.

There is NO SMOKING/VAPING permitted on any vessel or other equipment provided by the vendor. NO RECREATIONAL DRUGS including CANNABIS (in any form) are permitted on any vessel, equipment or during any time of a charter.

Booking Information

Lessons run June 1 - Sep 14, every Wednesday and Saturday.

All public shared sails are subject to minimum participation. You will be notified via email and TXT message 24hrs prior to the start of your sail only if the minimum number has not been reached and your sail must be rescheduled. No refunds are issued.
